Newseum

This shouldn’t take long, because I fear I may not have the opportunity to get on later tonight. I received the right to this blog late Sunday night. Last night I was unable to get on (server issues).

The above picture was taken by myself at the Newseum in Washington D.C. Under time constraints, I tried to fit the history of news in a couple of hours. It didn’t work. I felt like I wasted my time on a few exhibits that I could have accessed freely at home on Google.com with sleep breaks in between.

I remember one specific event the occurred here. It has nothing to do with the history of media, but the history a speaker here lacked: The American Civil War.  No, The American Civil War wasn’t essentially about slavery. I’m from the South and I know that this is false. The American Civil War was to try and get the Confederate States of American to rejoin the Union. She lost credibility, so I ignored her and the plain PowerPoint she had troubled presenting.
